The Park City School District Child Care Center is seeking a candidate with strong leadership abilities, experience with preschool and/or two year olds, curriculum, and classroom management skills to become part of our team as a lead teacher. A strong customer service background, along with a passion for education, is a must. Salary DOE.
Responsibilities include the following (all overseen by Center director):
-maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
-supervise the activities of the preschool-age children
-maintain order and routine within the classroom
-plan weekly lesson plans and direct classroom and playground activities
-set up the classroom for the daily activities
-administer curriculum assessments and track growth of children
-support developmentally appropriate curriculum and oversee proper implementation
-parent/teacher communications; greet and work positively with parents on a daily basis
-oversee Park City High School Teaching Assistants
-district and community interactions
Candidates must be 21 or older and have a Bachelor's degree and appropriate Early Childhood experience or accreditation.
